User Guide: Tasks for Compliance Management Application
Welcome to the Tasks Module of our Compliance Management application! This feature allows users to create tasks and assigned to other users. This guide will walk you through the functionality and capabilities of the tasks module in detail.
- Overview of Tasks
Tasks module in our application is designed to mainly for addressing vulnerabilities and improve the risk score of the facility. Tasks can be created and assigned to other roles. While performing survey, when question become noncompliance, task will be generated automatically. When tasks closed for noncompliance questions, risk score of the facility will improve.
Facility score also improve when Risk are accepted in analysis screen for tasks.
Tasks will be created with two types of sources.
- Tasks created with Assessments: Tasks will be created with the Assessments and recommendations, so tasks will be related to selected Assessments.
- Tasks created with Miscellaneous: Here tasks will be created with selecting source as Miscellaneous and recommendations.
- Accessing Task Module
Task Module is accessible for all the roles such as Admin, Manager, Site Contact, Limited Site Contact and View Only.
To Access Task module, follow below steps
- Navigate to Main Menu
- Select Tasks Module
View only user cannot create, edit and delete the tasks. View only user to access for the seeing the tasks assigned to him.

- Click on Create Task button
- Fill out the required fields, such as
- Status
- Assigned To
- Due Date
- Subject
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- Tasks can also be created from Analysis screen
- Navigate to Main Menu
- Select Analysis screen
- Select Assessment
- Go to ‘Convert to Task’ column
- If task is not created for non-compliance (+) symbol is displayed
- Click on (+) Symbol to create the Task
- Enter the required details in Create Task screen
- Click on Save
- Tasks can also be created from My Action menu
- Navigate to Main Menu
- Select My Action menu
- Select My Tasks
- Go to Current date and click
- It opens Create Tasks screen
- Enter the required details in Create Task screen
- Click on Save
- Editing Tasks
Tasks can be edited using Tasks screen
- Go to Action Column
- Click on the Edit Symbol
- Open Edit tasks page and edit the fields
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- Deleting Tasks
Tasks can be deleted using Tasks screen
- Go to Action Column
- Click on the Delete Symbol
- Confirmation message displayed
- Tasks Types

- Open
- In Progress
- Assigned
- Completed
- Closed
- Incomplete
- Language Options for Tasks module
To cater to diverse user needs, the tasks module supports multiple languages. You can select your preferred language from the dropdown menu located at the top of the screen. This ensures that your reports are accessible and understandable across global teams.
- Tasks Events
Events shows the information all the logs of the tasks created, updated and deleted. When task is created, Events Action Performed is displayed as ‘Create’. When task is edited, events action performed displayed as ‘Updated’ and when task is deleted, events Action Performed displayed as ‘Delete’.
Following functionality available in Tasks events screen
- Filter options available and we can run and save the filters. Saved filters are reused for future use.
- Column Sorting is available for Sort By option by selecting the columns names Action Performed, Performed By, Module, Action Date and Action Info.
- Search option available by searching any word or text, if search text is available, it will display the search content.
- Downloading data of tasks event in pdf format
- Column display options available using hide/seek columns, if columns are not selected columns will not displayed in tasks events.
- Tasks Emails
In this section, all the email details such as ‘From Email’ to ‘To Email’ details displayed. In this section mainly displayed when tasks assigned emails and tasks reminder emails.
In the task assigned emails, emails send to ‘Assigned To’ email id. Task reminders are also sent to ‘Assigned To’ email id.

- How to create from Tasks screen?
- Go to Task module
- Click on Create Task
- It will open new task created screen
- Select the required fields, click on Save
- How to assign tasks for other user?
- Go to Tasks module
- Open the task which needs to assign other user
- Go to Assigned To field
- Select the user
- Click on Save
- How to edit tasks?
- Open the tasks module
- Go to Action columns at the last column
- Select edit icon for the task
- Edit screen displayed
- After edit and click on Save
- How to delete the Tasks?
- Open the tasks module
- Go to Action columns at the last column
- Select delete icon for the task
- Pop up message and Select ‘Yes’
- Selected Task is deleted
- How to remind the tasks?
- Open the tasks module
- Open the tasks
- End of the task screen
- Click on Remind button
- Remind email will be sent to the user email id
- How to Sort tasks from Task screen?
- Open the Task screen
- Go to top of the screen
- Go to Sort By field by these items Task number, Task Subject, Created Date, Assigned By, Assigned To, Cost, Status and Last Updated.
- Select the ‘Task Number’ in the Sort By field, Task number column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Task Subject’ in the Sort By field, Task Subject column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Created Date’ in the Sort By field, Created Date’ column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Assigned By’ in the Sort By field, Assigned By column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Assigned To’ in the Sort By field, Assigned To column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Cost’ in the Sort By field, Cost column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Status’ in the Sort By field, Status column is sorted.
- Select the ‘Last Updated’ in the Sort By field, Last Updated column is sorted.
- How to download the Tasks data?
- Open the Task module
- Click on Down Arrow symbol right side of the screen
- Data exported excel sheet
- Can we hide/seek tasks screen columns?
- Open the Task screen
- Go to Right side of the screen
- Click on See/hide column
- Check from the list selected columns displayed on the screen
- Can we save and run the filters?
Yes, using filter options we can run and save the filters. Saved filters are reused for future use.
- How to restrict Task status to the user roles?
- Go to Settings
- Go to Customize fields
- Go to Task Status levels
- Using the Actions, each task status can be set using User roles and User combination.
- Selected Tasks status is displayed for the user in the task screen
