User Guide: Settings Module in Compliance Management Application
Welcome to the Settings Module of our Compliance Management application! This feature allows users to change anything on the application. This guide will walk you through the functionality and capabilities of the Settings module in detail.
- Overview of Password Settings sub module:
In password settings sub module user can give his own password creation format.
On the password settings page, the user must follow the specified format when creating a new password.
- What is Password Settings in compliance product?
- Below fields should be displayed in password settings:
- Password Expire Months: In password Expire month’s field dropdown based on selected month password should expire.
- When user select “never expire” password will not expire lifelong.
- When user select “1” month after 1 month password should expire.
- When user select “2” month after 2 month password should expire.
- When user select “3” month after 3 month password should expire.
- When user select “4” month after 4 month password should expire.
- When user select “5” month after 5 month password should expire.
- When user select “6” month after 6 month password should expire.
- Max Login Attempts Times: When user enters selected times wrong password then user account should be locked and after sometime user can login.
- When user select “3” after 4 maximum login fails user should be locked.
- When user select “5” after 6 maximum login fails user should be locked.
- When user select “10” after 11 maximum login fails user should be locked.
- Minimum Characters: In Minimum characters field user can enter equal to or more than 6 characters.
- In minimum characters field how many characters we give those many characters should be entered when user set the password.
- Minimum characters field is mandatory.
- Minimum Special characters: In minimum special characters user can give max upto 100 characters.
- In minimum special characters field how many characters we give those many characters should be entered.
- Minimum special characters field is mandatory.
- Minimum Uppercase Letters: In minimum special characters user can give max up to 99 characters user can select.
- In minimum uppercase characters field how many characters we give those many characters should be entered when user set the password.
- Minimum Uppercase characters field is mandatory.
- Minimum Numeric’s: In minimum special characters user can give max up to 99 characters user can select.
- In minimum Numeric characters field how many characters we give those many characters should be entered when user set the password in password creation page.
- Minimum Numeric characters field is mandatory.
- What is events section in Password settings details sub module?
Whenever users do any operation on the password settings sub module page in settings module all those data should be displayed in events section.
Generally in events section we have below fields:
- Action Performed By
- Performed By
- Module
- Action Date
- Action Info and
- View Details
- Filters
- Download Data
- Click Here to view/Hide Details
- How to Sort Password Settings details in events section screen?
When user click on sort by field in events section in organizational module below fields should be displayed:
- Action Performed: When user Create, Update and delete data in organizational sub module all those should be captured in action performed.
- Select the ‘Action Performed’ in the Sort By field, Performed By column is sorted in ascending order.
- Performed By: In this column which user did changes all those users information captured.
- Select the ‘Performed By’ in the Sort By field, Performed By’ column is sorted in ascending order.
- Module: In which module user changes data module name should be displayed.
- Select the ‘Module’ in the Sort By field, Module column is sorted in ascending order.
- Action Date: In this column on which date changes done those dates should be displayed.
- Select the ‘Action Date’ in the Sort By field, Action Date column is sorted in ascending order.
- Action Info: Select the ‘Action Info’ in the Sort By field, Action Info column is sorted in ascending order.
- View Details: When user click on view details popup all changes should be displayed in popup.

- How to search the Password Settings sub module data in events section?
- Open the settings module
- Click on organization sub module link.
- Click on events section.
- Click on search field right side of the screen
- Enter any text & check whether related data displaying on the page or not.
- Check whether when no data found “No records found “message should be displayed on the page.
- How to download the Password Settings sub module data?
- Open the settings module
- Click on organization sub module.
- Click on events section in organization sub module.
- Click on Down Arrow symbol right side of the screen
- Data exported excel sheet
- Can we hide/seek Password Settings sub module events screen columns?
- Open the settings module screen
- Click on organization sub module
- Click on events section.
- Go to Right side of the screen
- Click on See/hide column
- Check from the list selected columns displayed on the screen
- When user uncheck any column that column should not be displayed on the page.
- When user checked column should be displayed on the page.
- Can we run the filters in events section in Password Settings sub module?
- Yes, user can select the data and click on run selected filter data should be displayed on the page.
- When user click on filter where column fields should be displayed on the page.

- When user select column field and click on clause column below fields should be displayed:
- Contains
- Does Not Contains
- Is Equal to
- Is Not equal to
- When user select column, clause, enter text and click on run button selected filter data should be displayed on the page. If no filter data available on the page “No records found” message should be displayed.
