User Guide: Content View for Compliance Management Application
Welcome to the Content View of our Compliance Management application! This feature allows users to see the complete information of Content Libraries and Question Categories and Questions. We can create, edit and delete Question category and Questions belongs to Content Libraries. This guide will walk you through the functionality and capabilities of the Content View in detail.
- Overview of Content View
Content view menu is accessible for Admin and Manager Roles. In Content view menu all the application’s content information such as Content Libraries, Question category and Questions are available at one place.
Content view screen mainly shows Expand/Collapse functionality, users can click the + sign to expand or collapse child nodes.
Hierarchy Representation with + Sign. The + sign indicates a parent node, and the indented lines beneath it represent its child nodes.
Example: Content Libraries, Categories, and Questions.
In the Content view screen, Parent node is Content Library, Child node is Question Category, followed by Questions under that Category.
Inactive Question Categories and Questions will not be displayed in the Content view when selected Content Library.
In the Content view as single screen, we can see any information related to Content Library, Question Category and Question details.
Any changes performed in Content view for Content Library, Question Category and Questions which are reflected across the application.
- Accessing Content View screen
Content Viewaccessible for only Admin and Manager Roles.
To Access Content View screen, follow below steps
- Navigate to Main Menu
- Select Content Manager screen
- Select Content Viewmenu
Content View screen is divided into sections, Left Side contains Hierarchy Representation with + Sign and right side of the screen displayed the selected Parent and child node information.
Right Side of the screens shows the options to view and edit the information for selected node, ifparent node is selected as Content Library, Selected Content Library information is displayed at the right side of the screen to view and also to edit.
When selected Child node for the Content library, it is displayed Question Category list. If Child node is selected as particular Question Category, Selected Question Category information is displayed at the right side of the screen to view and also to edit such as update the Question Category name, Change the Status of Question Category as Active/Inactive, content library mapping also changed for selected Question Category.
When selected Child node for Question Category, it is displayed Questions list. If Child node is selected as particular Question, Selected Question information is displayed at the right side of the screen to view and also to edit such as update the Question name and other fields’ information.
- Accessing Parent Nodes and Childe Nodes in Content View screen
Hierarchical structure is often used to represent relationships between parent and child node.The + sign indicates a parent node, and the indented lines beneath it represent its child nodes.
- + indicates a parent node.
- Indented lines show the children of the node directly above.
- If a child node has its children, it’s also marked with + and further indented.
In the Content view screen, Parent node is Content Library, Child node is Question Category, followed by Questions under that Category.
- Language Options for Content View
To cater to diverse user needs, the Content View screen supports multiple languages. You can select your preferred language from the dropdown menu located at the top of the screen. This ensures that Content Viewscreen displayed in the selected language, accessible and understandable across global teams.
- Events of Content View changes
Logs of any changes such as create, edit and delete performed in Content View screen for Content Library, Question Category and Questions are displayed in the respective screens. If changes performed for Content Libraries, Question Categories and Questions are respectively logged in Content Libraries, Question Categories andQuestion Register screens.

- Go to Content View
- Click on the Content Library
- It shows the selected Content Library details and along with ‘Add New Content Library’ and ‘Add New Category’ buttons
- Click ‘Add New Content Library’
- In the Add Content Library
- Fill out the fields, such as
- Content Library
- Description
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- It show New Content Library displayed the list
- How to Edit Content Library using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Click on the Content Library
- It shows the selected Content Library details and along with ‘Add New Content Library’ and ‘Add New Category’ buttons
- Click ‘Add New Content Library’
- Edit the fields, such as

- Click on ‘Save’ button
- It shows edited Content Library displayed in the list.
- How to add Question Category using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Select any Content Library
- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Click ‘Add New Category’
- In the Add Question Category screen
- Fill out the fields, such as
- Question category
- Status
- Content Library
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- It shows the success message, question category placed in the Selected Content Library.
- How to edit Question Category using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Select any Content Library
- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Select Question Category displayed in the screen
- Fill out the fields, such as
- Question category
- Status
- Content Library
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- It shows the success message, edited question category displayed in the selected Content Library.
- How to delete the Question Category using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Select any Content Library
- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Select Question Category displayed in the screen
- Click on Delete button
- It shows Confirmation pop up message,
- Click On ‘Yes’, Selected Question category is deleted
Note: Mapped Question Category cannot be deleted.
- How to add Question using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Select any Content Library
- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Click ‘Add New Question’
- In the Add Question screen
- Fill out the required fields, such as
- Assessment Roles
- Facility types
- Response Type
- Question Category
- Question Text
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- It shows the success message, question is added in the Selected Question Category.
- How to edit the Question using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Select any Content Library
- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Select Question to edit
- Edit the required fields except Question Number
- Click on ‘Save’ button
- It shows the success message, edited question is displayed in the Selected Question Category
- How to delete the Question using Content View?
- Go to Main Menu
- Go to Content Manager
- Go to Content View
- Select any Content Library
- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Select Question
- Click on ‘Delete’ button
It shows the success message, deleted question will no longer displayed in the application.
- Whether any changes performed for questions will reflect to Assessments?
After performing changes for questions in Content view, will reflect to Question Register only but when selected respective Assessments, these changes reflected in Perform Survey screens also.

- Expand the node using + sign
- Select the Question Category
- Select Question and do some changes
- It displayed the pop up screen to select respective Assessments
