The Manager Risk Controls screen in the Risk Application is designed to help users define, assign, and monitor controls that manage identified risks within an organization. It acts as a centralized location for managing all risk controls linked to different risks, facilities, and assessments.
This guide will walk you through the complete functionality and capabilities of the My Schedules module in detail.
- Overview of Manage Risk Control Module
To ensure that every identified risk has one or more defined control mechanisms in place and that their effectiveness is regularly monitored.
Key Features and Columns in the Grid:
- Column Name - Description
- Risk Name - The name of the risk associated with the control.
- Control Name - The title or identifier of the control being implemented.
- Control Description - Details about what the control is intended to do or how it works.
- Control Effective - Indicates whether the control is currently effective (e.g., Yes/No or rating).
- Control Expiry Date - The date after which the control is no longer valid or needs review.
- Task Number - Displays the number or reference of any task linked to this control.
- Actions - Allows users to Edit existing controls or add new ones.
- Use the Add icon/button on the screen.
- Fill in:
- Risk Name
- Control Name & Description
- Owner & Type
- Frequency and Expected Effectiveness
- Click Save to create the control.
Edit Existing Controls
- Use the Edit icon in the Actions column.
- Update the control details as required.
- Save changes.
- Accessing Manage Risk Controls Module
Follow the steps below to navigate to the Manage Risk Controls screen:
- Go to the Main Menu
- From your dashboard or homepage, click on the Main Menu icon or section.
- Open the Risk Register Module
- In the menu list, locate and click on Risk Register Module.
- Select Manage Risk Controls
- Under the Risk Register module, click on Manage Risk Controls.
- View the Screen
- The system will open the Manage Risk Controls interface, displaying the grid view with all existing risk controls.

The following user roles can access and view the Manage Risk Controls section:
- Risk Administrator
- Risk Manager
- Risk Owner

To support diverse user needs across regions, the Manage Risk Controls module in the Risk Application provides multi-language support.
Language Selection Options:
Users can choose their preferred language in two ways:
- At Login:
Select the desired language before signing into the application. - Within the Application:
Use the language dropdown located at the top-right corner of the screen after logging in.
User Experience:
Once a language is selected:
- The entire Manage Risk Controls module — including all grid columns, labels, buttons, and sections — will automatically be displayed in the chosen language.

- Login to the application
- Go to Risk Register
- Go to Manage Risk Controls
- How to create the Assessment from Manage Risk Control screen?
- Navigate to the Risk Register Open the main menu.
- Click on Risk Register.
- Access Manage Risk Control
- Select Manage Risk Control from the available options.
- Open Create Assessment Window:
- On the Manage Risk Control screen, click on the “+ Create Assessment” icon at the top.
Fill in the Assessment Details (in the pop-up):
- Assessment Name: Enter a unique name for the risk assessment.
- Start Date & End Date: Select the appropriate date range.
- Scope of Assessment: Describe the scope or purpose of the assessment.
- Recommendation Filter (Optional):
- Choose from expiry-based options:
- Expired
- Next 30 Days
- Next 60 Days
- Next 90 Days
- Choose from expiry-based options:
- Create the Assessment:
- Click on “Create Risk Assessment”.
Confirmation:
- The new assessment will be saved successfully and displayed in the assessment list.
- How to search the data in Manager Risk Control screen?
- You can quickly locate specific records in the grid using the Search and Filter features.
Search Field:
- Located at the top of the screen.
- Enter any keyword or partial value in the search field.
- The grid will automatically display matching records based on the entered text (like search).
Filter Feature:
- Use filters to narrow down data by selecting specific columns or values (e.g., Risk Name, Control Effective status, Expiry Date).
- Helps refine results based on custom conditions.
- How to Export Excel data of Manage Risk Controls?
- Open the Risk Register module from the main menu.
- Navigate to Manage Risk Controls.
- Click on the Export Excel button located on the left side of the screen.
- The current data in the Manage Risk Controls grid will be downloaded in Excel format to your device.
- How to hide/seek columns of Manage Risk Controls?
Steps:
- Open the Risk Register module from the main menu.
- Navigate to Manage Risk Controls.
- Go to the Columns option
- A list of available columns will appear.
- Check or uncheck the boxes beside column names to show or hide them in the grid.
- If a column is not selected, it will not be displayed.
