User Guide: KRI Library for Risk Assessment Application
Welcome to the KRI Library sub module of our Risk Assessment application! This feature allows users to create KRI library data from application & download excel sheets and upload into the application through excel sheet. This guide will walk you through the functionality and capabilities of the Bulk Upload module in detail.
- Overview of KRI Library Sub module
The Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Library is a centralized repository of standardized risk indicators that end users can browse, select, and use to monitor risk exposure within business units, processes, or specific risk records.

- How to Access KRI Library Sub module in Risk Assessment product?
KRI Library Sub module can be accessed from below navigation
- Navigate to Main Menu
- Select Risk Register module
- Sub modules should be displayed.
- Click on KRI Library sub module
- It will navigate you to the KRI Library sub module Screen
- How to create New KRI Library in Risk Assessment product?
- Click on KRI Library sub module.
- Click on + icon in KRI Library Sub module at the top right.
- KRI Library popup should be displayed with below fields:
- KRI Name: The KRI Name field stands for Key Risk Indicator Name in a risk assessment product. It is used to identify and label a specific metric that helps monitor the status or trend of a risk. The KRI Name acts as the title or identifier for the indicator.
- Select Risk Template Dropdown: In most risk assessment products, the KRI Library (Key Risk Indicator Library) allows you to define and manage KRIs that is linked to specific risk templates. Selecting the right risk template ensures that the KRI is aligned with the structure, fields, and scoring model used in the associated risk assessments.
- Select Risk dropdown: In a risk assessment product, the "Select Risk" dropdown field in the KRI Library is used to associate a specific Key Risk Indicator (KRI) with one or more individual risks that are already recorded in the Risk Register.
- Select Description: The “Description” field in the KRI (Key Risk Indicator) Library of a risk assessment product is used to provide a clear and detailed explanation of what the KRI measures and how it relates to risk monitoring.
- It helps users understand the purpose, scope, and calculation method of the KRI.
- When user fills all the details and click on save button new KRI library should be created and should display in KRI library home page.
- When user click on cancel button in new KRI library screen cancel popup should be displayed when user click on yes button it should be navigated to KRI library home page. And when user click on “No” button it should be on same page.
- What all the available columns in KRI Library home page?
- KRI Library Table/grid columns should be displayed as below:
- KRI Name
- Description
- Risks
- Action
- Can we edit / Modify created KRI Library in Risk Register module?
- Yes, in most risk assessment products, you can edit or modify a KRI (Key Risk Indicator) that has been created in the KRI Library, but with some conditions depending on the platform and user permissions.
- In KRI Library Edit page we can edit below fields :
- KRI Name
- Select Risk Template
- Select Risk
- Description
- Along with Risk Template Edit we can also edit columns name & calculations.Updated details successfully message should be displayed on the page.
- Can we delete a created KRI Library in Risk register?
- Yes, we can delete a KRI Library.
- If a user deletes a KRI Library then associated risks also should be deleted from that KRI library. All related data will be deleted successfully.When user click on delete icon in KRI Library home page delete popup message should be displayed with yes or no button.
- When user click on “Yes” button then selected KRI library should be deleted successfully and successful message should be displayed on the page.
- When user click on “No” button the KRI library home page should be displayed on the page.
- Can we upload/create new KRI Library in Risk register from excel sheet?
- Yes, we can create new KRI library from downloaded excel sheet.
- Click on download icon in KRI library home page.
- Click on download New KRI data sheet.
- Excel Sheet should be downloaded successfully.
- Open the excel sheet and fill the data & save the sheet.
- Click on upload icon in KRI library home page.
- Bulk Upload KRI popup should be displayed.
- Click on Upload new data.
- Click on select file button.
- Upload saved file.
- Check whether newly created KRI library should be displayed in KRI library home page.
- Can we Search data in KRI Library screen in risk register module in risk assessment product?
- Yes, we can search data in KRI library home page by following below procedure:
- Click on Risk Register module.
- Click on KRI library sub module.
- KRI Library home page should be displayed on the page.
- Go to Right side of the screen
- Enter valid data in search check whether entered data should be displayed on the page.
- When user enters invalid data check whether no records should be displayed on the page.
- Can we hide/seek KRI Library screen columns in risk register in risk assessment product?
- Yes, we can hide data in KRI library home page by following below procedure:
- Click on Risk Register module.
- Click on KRI library sub module.
- KRI Library home page should be displayed on the page.
- Go to Right side of the screen.
- Click on See/hide column
- Selected list items columns are displayed on the screen
- Unselected columns are not displayed on the screen.
- Can we download or export the KRI library screen in risk register in risk assessment product and in which format?
- Yes, you can download or export KRI Library data , and the available formats typically include:
- Excel Format
- What are events in KRI Library home page in risk register module in risk assessment product?
- Events section will capture all changes done by user on KRI library sub module screen.
- In events section below fields should be displayed:
- Search Field: When user enters related text in events search field if entered text is matching then data should be displayed on the page. If no data available on the page “No records found” message should be displayed on the page.
- Click here to view/hide details: When user click on click here to view icon columns popup should be displayed. When user unchecks any column that column should not be displayed on the page. Checked data should be displayed on the page.
- Excel Export: When user clicks on excel export link excel sheet should be downloaded successfully.
- In events screen we will capture below operations done by an end user:
- Create
- Update:
- Delete
- When user click on events dropdown in KRI library sub module in risk register module below columns data should be displayed on the page:
- Action Performed: What all the operations performed by those data will be captured in this column.
- Performed By: In this column which user performed those data should be displayed on this page.
- Module: In which module user performed those module data will be captured in this column.
- Action Date: In this column on which date user performed those data should be displayed on the page
- Action Info:
- View Details: When user click on view details icon audit info popup should be displayed on the page.
