Colleges and universities have been hit with a variety of negative events including the lacrosse student murder, murder of Morgan Harrington – which demonstrate how basic elements which could have been identified by a full risk assessment were ignored.

This program is also available in a K-12 version for schools and has been used successfully at a variety of charter schools.

Originally developed with the U.S. Institute of Justice and a major university’s Criminal Justice program, this software covers every major area of security assessment including locks and key controls, roof access, doors and windows, CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design), security controls, security police and guard services, security policies and procedures and much more.

Detailed reports are automatically created which include a full audit trail of who answered every question and what their answers were. It includes a mitigation plan, with solid recommendations on what controls are missing, how much they would cost to add, and a true Return On Investment calculation for each control.

The program can run on a laptop, or a regular PC or server, and it reduces the time of doing a risk assessment by 70-80%. Default data on threat frequencies and a complete cost catalog of controls is included.
