( Master administrator account must be used for install. Installation issues may occur despite the fact that the end user is a member of the admin group.)

Configuring the BDE for Windows Vista - RiskWatch applications use the Borland Database Engine (BDE) for underlying operations. Windows Vista can be very restrictive towards applications written for the previous versions of Windows. To assist in this matter, download the "RWConfiguring the BDE for Vista" document (right-click and "Save Target As").

"Help" Files Do Not Run - WinHlp32.exe is required to display 32-bit Help files that have the ".hlp" file name extension. Microsoft does not include this application with Windows Vista. Install this application to view help files.

New RWAnswerASP (Web Survey Distribution Tool) Thank you page
The reasoning: After a respondent finishes the survey, they find themselves back at the login page. Since it is always nice to be thanked for participation, we have created a thank you page. The respondent, when finished with the survey, will be presented with this page instead of the login page. The sample uses our logo files. The questions.asp page has been edited to revert to the "Thankyou.html" page. This sample Thankyou.html page currently displays Riskwatch® branding. Use an HTML editor to modify the page for your organizational needs.

New RWRespond.exe
(Replaces the executable packaged with software versions prior to version 9.4.2)
RWRespond.exe is an Application that allows a respondent to take the survey you have created for them. The posted version has been updated to include a functional help button, an option to "Check Here to Move to Next Unanswered Question Automatically After Rating Selection," an additional button choice of "Next Unanswered Question" in addition to the existing button "Next Question." Output question sets will continue to create the executable-either replace the output file with this one when you package the files to send to a respondent, OR, replace the file in the install directory. Microsoft Access Run-time
The Case Summary and Response Analysis Reports require a Microsoft Office Suite installation on the PC. If the PC does not have Microsoft Access installed as part of the Office Suite, these run-time files must be installed in order for the reports to execute. Download the Run-Time Install

RWAnswerASP Patch

If you have installed the survey distribution tool, RWAnswerASP, to a web server AND are utilizing the RWAdmin web site to download the completed survey files (ans#.rwa) you may encounter error messages when attempting to download certain survey files. The cause of this problem has been identified and a patch for the web server is available. The original file getbinfile.asp is found at:
driveletter:\Program Files\RiskWatch\RWAnswerASP\Web\Admin.
Re-name the original file (in case you have to revert) and copy the new file to the directory. This patch will allow those previously un-downloadable files to download. Download Getbinfile.zip
